National Dairy Shrine/Iager Dairy Scholarship
National Dairy Shrine/Iager Dairy Scholarships are available to outstanding second-year students studying dairy at a two-year agricultural school. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic standing, leadership ability, interest in dairy and plans for the future.

Dairy Student Recognition Contest
This National Dairy Shrine recognition program was established to encourage students to continue working with dairy cattle following college graduation. Awards are based on leadership ability, activities, interest in and experience with dairy cattle, academic standing and future plans. The first place winner receives a $1,500 cash award, second place individual receives $1,000 and third through seventh place individuals are awarded $500 each.

Each college or university may nominate two students for the national contest, using a local contest or screening committee to determine the nominee.
Kildee Scholarship
The scholarship is named for the late H.H. Kildee, Dean Emeritus at Iowa State University, whose counsel, encouragement and teaching inspired many of today's dairy leaders.

Kildee Scholarship (Advanced Study)
The top 25 individuals in the three most recent National Intercollegiate Dairy Judging Contests are eligible to apply for two $3,000 scholarships, to be used for post-graduate study in a dairy-related field. The awards are based on rank in the national contests, academic standing, leadership ability, student activities, interest and experience with dairy cattle and future plans.
Kildee Scholarship Undergraduate Study
The top 25 individuals in the National 4-H and FFA Dairy Judging Contests (beginning with 1999 contest) are eligible to apply for a $2,000 undergraduate scholarship.

National Dairy Shrine/Dairy Management, Inc. (DMI) Milk Marketing Scholarships
National Dairy Shrine/DMI Milk Marketing Scholarships are available to college sophomores, juniors or seniors majoring in dairy marketing, dairy manufacturing, dairy science, home economics or journalism at a college or university approved by the appropriate National Dairy Shrine committee. Funds are provided by Dairy Management, Inc. (DMI) and National Dairy Shrine and administered by National Dairy Shrine. Awards are based on ability, interests and need.

McCullough Scholarships
New in 1998, the two McCullough Scholarships are awarded to incoming college freshman who plan to major in dairy science or agricultural journalism and intend to work in the dairy industry following graduation. One $2,500 and one $1,000 scholarship are given. Half of the money is awarded during each winner's first college semester, with the second half available following successful completion of the students' sophomore year.

Funds for these scholarships come from a $50,000 bequest to National Dairy Shrine from the estate of Marshall McCullough, well-known Georgia nutrition researcher and educator.

National Dairy Shrine/Klussendorf Association Scholarship
Two $1,500 National Dairy Shrine/Klussendorf Association Scholarships will be awarded to two students successfully completing their first, second or third year at a 2-year or 4-year college or university. Students must major in a Dairy Science (animal/dairy science) curriculum with plans to enter the dairy cattle field as a breeder, owner, herdsperson or fitter. This award is made possible by a generous gift by the late Klussendorf member, Chris Kampf.
