| Responsibilities: |
1. Writing press releases and feature stories, updating Midwest literature pieces.
2. Attending producer and consumer events; assisting with Midwest's displays and activities at the Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Missouri State Fairs.
3. Involvement in retail promotions and research; assisting in future intern recruitment; and providing Midwest staff support, including various office duties.

| Qualifications: |
1. Eligible participants must be at least 18 years of age and either students in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, or Arkansas or students that are permanent residents of those states.
2. Preference will be given to those possessing strong communication and organizational skills. The candidate need not be from a dairy farm, but those with knowledge of the dairy industry are preferred.
3. Applicants must submit a resume, a list of three to five references, and a three-to-five page essay describing how Midwest Dairy Association would benefit from their internship.
